Our new exclusive
woodland friends
candles
Our new range of woodland friends candles are inspired by the wildlife with whom we share our lives on our rural meadow and woodland located deep in the Welsh countryside. A family of sheep graze our meadow once it's seeded in late summer then again in early spring. Adjacent, our woodland is alive with wildlife - mice, squirrels, hedgehogs, badger, fox, deer and the occasional wild boar all enjoying the undisturbed tranquility of this peaceful landscape disturbed only by the flowing waters of Wrenwood stream and its waterfalls, a light trickle in summer rising to a raging torrent following heavy rainfall.
Our new exclusive range of hand-poured and highly-detailed candles, modelled on our woodland friends, are made using all natural products for clean-burning without toxic smoke or fumes. They are completely natural with absolutely nothing added to ensure they are free of all potentially-harmful or irritant fumes and, as animal loves of all species, we have ensured they can be used safely in your home with your pets present providing candles are out of reach and not left unattended, of course.
We offer two types of all natural, environmentally and animal-friendly candles:
Soy wax is natural, renewable enviro-friendly and biodegradable. It has a lower melting point than paraffin wax so will burn slower and up to 50% longer than paraffin candles without producing any toxic fumes, known carcinogens or petro-soot. Our soy candles are also free of all essential oils which can produce potentially-harmful or irritant fumes to pets.
Beeswax is a natural wax produced by honey bees. The wax is formed into scales by eight wax-producing glands in the abdominal segments of worker bees, and is used within hives to build honeycomb cells. Beeswax candles burn slowly and cleanly, producing negative ions to help neutralise air pollutants and purify the air.
Candles are hand-poured, mostly to order and shades may vary between batches.
Please ensure wick is trimmed to 5mm before re-lighting and stand the candle on a plate or similar heat-resistant surface to catch any melted wax.
All dimensions quoted are approximate and exclude wicks.
