Woodland friends

Humphrey and Spike Hedgehogs
Maurice Mole
Humphrey is a happy character, always on the go, always smiling and a great companion to all our other woodland friends particularly Lola the ladybird who lives on his head. He is very detailed with his podgy tummy, belly button, happy smile and laid-flat spines. He stands 56mm tall and is available as a soap and candle.

Spike is a chubby hedgehog, rather large and a little too keen on sitting watching the world go by while contemplating his regular snoozes and longing for hibernation. He stands 58mm long, 30mm tall and a chunky 52mm wide due to eating too many hoggy snacks.  He is available as a soap and candle.

Maurice, our mole, is a relative newcomer to Wrenwood and first made his presence known by a patch of soil in the middle of our meadow. The next day there was a second patch, then a third until gradually he'd made his was along the full length of the 2 acre meadow until eventually his molehills became hidden by the fast-growing grass of mid-summer.

Although a solitary character, Maurice is a mischevous and jolly fellow who revels in his underground digging activities and is proud of his earthworks both below and above ground. He has a stocky build and stands 75mm tall with a smug accomplished smile
Blossom Bunny - wild rabbit
Luna - French Lop rabbit
Blossom is Luna's wildie cousin who lives with her extended family and friends in the secluded and undisturbed hedgerows of Wrenwood where she can tuck into the widest range of natural forage - fresh juicy dandelions, luscious long grass, brambles and blackberry leaves and our delicious Wrenwood Willow along with the fruits of Wrenwood orchard and natural wild fruits. It's the perfect life for anybunny.
Small Blossom is available as a candle.  She also has a larger sister available as a soap.
Although not strictly a native resident of Wrenwood Woodland, Luna, is modelled on our extensive family of pet French Lop rabbits whom we've lovingly reared for over 40 years.

Like all French Lops, Luna is a large girl with a chunky build, long ears which swing freely as she hops around and explores before flopping for a rest and overdue snooze before her next energy burst. She loves life both outdoors where she can run free but she also greatly enjoys being a loved and pampered house-bunny with her array of toys, hand-fed foraged treats and soft bed to flop onto.  Luna stands 50mm tall and is available as a soap and in a wide range of candle colours plus a pure beeswax cousin.
Ollie Owl
Skaapie Sheep
Ollie, our tawny owl, lives in the Wrenwood woodlands with his family and friends.

From dusk, he heads out hunting, making himself heard from late evening with his 'hoo-hoo' calls.  He is available as a soap.
Skaapie, meaning 'weakling' or 'little lamb' in Afrikaans, is named after the young Jacob lamb we met at just a few days old.  Rejected by her mum, she was being hand-reared and enjoying life as a free-range house-lamb, daintily tottering along tiled floors and muzzling her human mum's ankles while being completely ignored by the resident cat.  Skaapie made excellent progress and the following year, now living as an outdoor ewe, came to stay with us on Wrenwood meadow, bringing several of her relatives for company.  She is available as a soap.
Mia and Milo mice
Our young mice, Mia and Milo mice are usually to be found lazing in the foliage on the banks of our Wrenwood stream.

Mia is a petite field mouse, often found high on the bank lazing in open flowers, gazing up at the sun on long summer days sleeping off her snacks of fruits, seeds, berries and nuts falling from overhanging trees. Ever hungry, she's often seen tucking into fungi growing on our fallen trees in the autumn.

Milo is a young harvest mouse, slightly shy in nature and who spends much of his time in his nest from which he forages for food, particularly gathered nuts which he stores in his nest. He then stays mostly snug and hidden, patiently waiting for warmer weather when he'll emerge to forage again. He is 52mm long including the foraged nut he's nibbling.

Both mice are available as candles and soaps.
